What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
I have comparred my magazine to the magazine VIBE and an specific issue of it.
I then began to research two different media companies.
I firstly looked at the Bauer Publishing Company. The Bauer Media Group is a large German publishing company based in Hamburg, which operates in 15 countries worldwide. Since the company was founded in 1875, it has been privately-owned and under management by the Bauer family. Bauer currently owns 'Q', 'Kerrang' and many more. It is a continuous company and developing new ideas and sources of media.
The second media company that i looked at is IPC media. IPC Media (formerly International Publishing Company UK Ltd) is one of the United Kingdom's leading magazine and digital publishers, with a large portfolio selling over 350 million copies each year.
